Headaches and Acne?

Anyone else prone to the two of these before pregnancy and not having a problem with them now? I was very prone to migraines and headaches before becoming pregnant and they were definitely linked to hormones. I would always get a bad headache right before I got my period but also a constant dull headache sometimes as well since stopping birth control. I also would break out really bad around my period...even using a clinical strength facewash to take care of the acne, I'd still get a small breakout around my period time. I haven't had a headache since right around ovulation time and am just now starting to get a little breakout but my skin has been clear for weeks. I know being pregnant can cause headaches and acne...anyone have the opposite?

Hi Braven, I have a history of really bad migraines too. The specialist told me 80% of women with migraine history stop having them during pregnancy. I take 400mg of magnesium a day and it is a miracle! I was on topomax for 8 years and the magnesium works so much better, and it's much safer.

I haven't had any since my bfp, fx. Unfortunately, I have worse acne now to go with the fatigue and puking. Oh well, at least I "feel" pregnant

Oh wow, I didn't know those statistics...man...I'm going to really love pregnancy then lol...I used to only take tylenol for my migraines which really didn't do anything to touch them, especially when they got bad...I was just surprised that the headaches disappeared once getting my bfp! Haven't had a single headache since ovulation.

With my first, my skin became absolutely flawless during pregnancy. Awesome! But this one...grrr!!! I'm pretty sure you sent your acne MY way, Braven!! LOL! And, yes, I am getting headaches more and more often. Guess you got lucky...for now!

lol, I'm sorry I didn't mean to. But like I said, I'm starting to get a little break out. I'm just so excited about going so long headache free...its been nice! Since I stopped BC I was almost always with a headache.

My skin has been awful during this pregnancy, getting breakouts at the same time as wrinkles is just not nice. Putting it down to the surplus and raging hormones

Oh I do hope that I'm one of the 80% who stop having migraines, that would be bliss to have 9 month without migraines and headaches Its very early days for me yet but I haven't had any in the past few weeks, so lets hope it stays like that though. As for my skin though, over the past few years I've had problems with acne and well its been quite bad these past few weeks, hope thats going to improve
