I have a whole bunch of them! Soooo painful!
I sometimes get one before my period so i figure they must be hormone related.

How spooky, I have an ulcer in exactly the same place, and boy oh boy does it hurt!
I haven't heard that you shouldn't use Bonjela though, how come?
So far I've braved the pain and ignored it, the only natural remedy I can think of is rinsing with salt water (blech).

Hi ladies, now this is something I can help with! I had no less than 20 mouth ulcers and they were evil. So bad that I ended up off work for a week and doc wanted to put me on antibiotics - thats when I discovered I was pregnant and that's what caused them!!

I used corsodyl mouth wash and oralbase paste. Itw as brilliant and safe to use in pregnancy. Also for your info the chemist said anbesol is OK too but I didn't find this worked too well.
