Drop below coverline

I am a poster girl for why you shouldn't temp in pregnancy, my temperatures dropped from 98.1 to 97.2 this morning, please tell me to stop being an idiot, that it's snowing outside, that I took my temp earlier than the past few days and it's probably a one off and doesn't mean my bean isn't sticky!

My temp right now is 98.62 which is two hours after I took it originally so that's good right? I hereby vow to stop temping, it's not worth the stress!

yes i agree with pink and emily, throw that thermometer out the window and enjoy your pregnancy, there are enough things to worry about without adding that stress to it. congrats and a happy and healthy pregnancy to you xxx

Hi there, I was also a temper but stopped after 18 high temps. Step away from the thermometer, and dont worry. Temperatures fluctuate in early pregnancy so temping will only cause you stress. I've heard people say they miscarried and their temps stayed high for a while afterwards, and others say their temps were all over the place and their babies ended up fine. So stop worrying! (Hard I know in these early days - but try )

I carried on temping after my bfp too. I got a very low temperature at about 5 weeks pregnant and I spent that entire day thinking I was going to miscarry so I stopped temping that day and haven't been near the thermometer since!!

Oh that's good to know! I am definitely going to stop temping now. I have no reason at all to think I will miscarry but I am totally paranoid about it, I think it's just because while these boards are great there are so many posts and signatures about pregnancy losses that I forget it's not a foregone conclusion that mine will go that way

Must be positive

Thanks ladies!
