Okay quick question, I'm about 6 DPO, and I am having very increased cervical mucus, white, creamy, like lotion. Sorry tmi! I don't even have this much before or even around ovulation, so I did a digi just to make sure I wasn't missing something, it was clearly negative, there was no trace of an LH line. Is this normal? Could it be a sign of conception? Any answers would be appreciated, those with previous BFP, did this ever happen to you? I've not really had any other symptoms.
CM isn't a reliable indicator.... I drove myself mental thinking it meant things when it didn't. That's not to say to it isn't a sign for you! Fingers crossed chick. As far as OPKs go, after ovulation, I got no line at all... I used them for a month, and they helped me get my bfp
I didn't test until I was at least 15dpo I was TTC that month but I did not want, like you, to be disappointed if I had tested to early. It was hard waiting and trying to think of anything else. But I'm glad I never got a negative and had to wonder.
It all depends on what is normal for your cycle-- it wasn't uncommon for me to have light to moderate CM sometimes before AF. 6dpo is a little early for an accurate reading though, so it's definitely still a possibility.
I waited until my AF was almost a week late, so I was like 16dpo (I didn't want to be disappointed with another bfn). But for about week before testing (and still now) I had really lotiony, creamy CM. It is very similar to the CM that I would get during ovulation, sort of EWCM. Don't give up-- it's not over until the shows up!!
Good luck & baby dust to you!!
