Creative ways to tell family and friends!!!

Does any one have any creative ways to tell family and friends about being pregnant? I'm 7 weeks preggo today and will have an US on March 7. I was planning on telling at least my parents then. But wondering how to do it...

I've read some cute ideas...
1. having the ultrasound pic blown up, made into a puzzle, and having your parents/ family assemble it in front of you
2. having a bib that reads, "i love grandma and grandpa"
3. having a save the date card/ magnet made (like for weddings) and putting the baby's due date
4. giving the family children's books and writing a note saying, "grandma, please read these to me in october"

Other creative ideas would be great... thanks!

I can only tell you what my brother did. For first kid he got all the grandparents bib's that said #1 Grandma/Grandpa that they had to open at same time at a dinner party. The for third kid which was complete total surprise he found out around halloween time so he made up a riddle: "Went to go get pumpkins for whole family today and we got 5" (should have been 4 if no baby) I guessed right away as to what he was getting at but everyone else took awhile to get it. Was pretty creative though I though.

I plan on with my parents calling up (since they live in KY and I'm in CA) and saying "Hi Grandpa and Grandma how's it going?" see if they catch on to what I'm saying. And for hubby's parents plan on leaving a baby name book or bib or something like that at their house on their table we go over to eat their every Sunday and see how long it takes them to figure it out. For them it will be their 1st grandchild for my parents it will be their 6th. Other family and friends will probably just tell normally. Or maybe put up on Facebook Have exciting news see if anyone can figure out what that news is although doubt they will since no on knows that hubby and I have thought of starting a family. Only have one family member that need to tread lightly with cause don't want her to break down.

i had sooo many ways of telling people but when it came down to it, it changed.....i ended up giving my mom a gift bag with a picture frame with the ultrasound pic and baby socks with a card. she knew as soon as she opend the socks what was going on. she asked me if i was prego and i just smiled....OH just handed his mom the picture and she couldnt c it very well so as they were looking for a magnifing glass and she was trying to figure it out( she knew it was a ultrasound pic and a baby) i said yes im 9 weeks. as far as my dad i emailed him because i knew he was busy but called him and told him to check his email its important

I have already told my parents, and we haven't come up with a plan for his yet. His sister is pregnant too so I am afraid they won't get it if we get them some sort of grandparent gift.

For extended family and friends we are going to wait until Easter to tell everyone. We are either going to have custom M&M's ordered or little stickers that go on the bottom of hershey kisses that say " baby and our last name" "Coming Oct 2011". Then we are going to stuff them in Easter eggs and hand them out. I am excited to see reactions, it just seems like forever to wait though!

I so wanted to tell my DH in a creative way. My plan was to put a bun in our oven and ask DH to just take out what was in the oven, then he'd get it. But as it turned out I had to tell him on the phone as he had left the country for 2 weeks the day I found out.

that would have been very cute indeed!

I had wondered about getting a scan pic and saying to my Mum and Dad - hey, have you seen this latest photo of your grandchild - because they would assume it would be their nephew!

oh - and one of my TTC buddies who is now about 20 weeks I think - she got her son to wear a t-shirt saying big brother on it when she went to visit her parents to let them know she was preg again! I thought this was very cute

my husband and i found these shirts online..
Mine said Baby loading...Please wait (underneath it had the Windows loading screen)
My husbands said Dad to be loading... Please wait (his also had the Windows loading screen)
Since we own a computer company we thought it would be cute to tell our family this way.. It didn't take long for people to notice...
Enjoy telling to good news!!
