im 8 weeks today and this has just started the last couple days. I dont wake up and puke or anything. But im always gagging and dry heaving! is this morning sickness? what helped you early in the mornings...water seems to make it worse!
Yes me! I think that it's because mucous settles overnight and so I just have to blow my nose a lot and have a fairly hot shower to create steam. Then I usually feel better.
Mine isn't completely limited to the mornings though. It also happens after eating, especially dairy products, so I have been trying to avoid these if possible.
My mouth gets really dry thru the night. It seems from 9pm to 7am I get dehydrated! Also I get mucus in my throat but I don't get too gaggy over it. At night tho if I wait too long for dinner I get gaggy! So ice learned to keep snacking! Lol
Me too, gagging or dry heaving morning, noon, and night. Its particularly bad when I try to brush my teeth--thinking about giving that up for the next six weeks--not sure which is worse, bad breath or gagging and sometimes vomitting.
I did at first it's awful isn't it =[ Try and just eat tiny bits as soon as you wake up. Everyone said have ginger biscuits by my bed but these made it worse. Maybe try crisps or toast first thing. It gets better by 14 weeks I found, know that seems ages away but it flies by. Good luck! xx
I'm starting to feel better, but just a week ago as soon as I put my toothbrush in my mouth the gagging and sickness would start! I felt nausea immediately after waking up, but brushing my teeth really gets me sick!
oh I gag and dry heave all the time, especially when brushing my teeth!! I laughed at the poster who said she didn't know what was worse, bad breath or nausea, LOL. It's a vicious cycle it seems... if I throw up I just about have to brush my teeth or something to get that taste out of my mouth. And I don't know what it is about showering in the mornings, but when I'm done I'm always bent over the shower drain gagging!! Sorry that's a terrible visual LOL
