scared outa my wits :O any1 else dreading 12 week scan/scared of

my 12 week scans tues and i just wanted to chat to a few of you bout how your feeling, i am petrified i havent felt pregnant much at all today if anything to be honest, everyone i speak to just doesnt understand, they keep saying not if ya have the baby but when

i cant except iv got this far or that im lucky enough for tues scan to be ok. im 99 % convinced they will say theres no heartbeat

I'm only 5 weeks pregnant & already worry about my scan! I think it's natural Hun but I'm sure all will be ok & then hopefully it will put your mind at rest! Xxx

Hiya I understand what you mean completely. I have no idea how far I am I could be from 9 to 16 weeks and due my first scan on Tuesday. I keep worrying too about something being wrong and nobody seems to understand. My hubby he tries but he says you have to not worry but its impossible and just find myself keeping my feelings inside. I hope that everything goes ok and sending you lots of happy healthy baby vibes x

i think iv grown a massive fear of 12 week scans, every 1 for the last 5 pregnancys has been "sorry no heartbeat"

i even told the dr twice when i knew it wasnt right or had bleeding the last time he said i think its all in your head wait for 12 week scan and low n behold i was right unfortunantly

its actually good that im not the only 1 goin out of my mind with worry i managed to block this pregnancy out n stay detached was only way i could cope if it was bad news again, but now iv seen bubs bouncing around like tigger n heartbeat was fine it already feels like this little personality is thriving in there and it could still all go wrong

Its really hard

I lost a baby in May last year just the day before I lost it I saw it on the scan its heart was so healthy and it was happy. A bleed lower down ruptured its water.
As the days to the scan are getting nearer i'm a bag of nerves. I've had no bleeding or anything like that just scared. I think we have to concentrate on the positive otherwise we'll never get through it but what with not being able to walk and being a nervous wreck I think Tuesday can come and go as fast as possible for me

I have my scan on tuesday also. We are the same 12w2d. I am so nervous since I only have headaches and always hungry. Other then that I have never been sick just a little quezzy. This was the norm so far and all scans have been great. I just am hoping that the little baby stuck and everything is ok. Not sure how I would take it if it is not ok. Let me know how it goes and I will also. What time is your scan at? Where do you live for time difference?

I have my scan on Wednesday. It is kind of hard when you have had a loss. I didn't worry for my last baby but this time I am so uncertain because of the loss a year ago. It is hard to believe that everything might be okay when we haven't had any confirmation of growth or well being besides my symptoms (that there have been a lot of) yet.

Roxy, so sorry for your losses, no wonder you feel like that I had same thing twice thought that was bad enough! I'm a nervous wreck! They offered me an early scan an I said no! Coz first time had one at 8weeks lovely heartbeat by 10weeks no hb! So really what's to gain from an early scan!! Boone understands that my hubby does! Everyone keeps saying go for early scan! Erh no coz like u say roxy having a scan is not an enjoyable experience for everyone!
I get quite bitter when people try to show me scan pictures! Erh no I can't look at my own let alone looking at someone elses!! On thus site it's different people do understand an genuinely try to help!
My scan isn't till march 17th!! I keep doing pregnancy tests! Which ate getting bit lighter at the moment! Do you girls ever have this? X

I have my bookin in on thurs at 12 weeks then gotta wait for scan app. I'm beyond shittin myself I'm not goin with my hubby I'm that scared I wanna be on my own. I suffered a miscarriage a few years ago so its spoilt this pregnancy for me! X
