superstions- are you keeping your pram in the house before baby arrives?

We have bought our pram as it was an absolute bargain and in fantastic condition (silvercross 3d) from one of hubbys work mates.

My mum and nan keep going on about it being bad luck to keep the pram in the house before baby arrives but theres no where else for it to go. Mum or nan have no space and theres no one else.

mum stupidly said is she saving it for us till nearer the time? erm no!

what do you think to this superstion and what are you doing?

Last pregnancy I found a bargain too....had to get it. I was about 6 mnths. I had no choice but to have it in my house as all my family lived miles away. I did keep it in the back room tho, we never really went in there, just for storage really. I know how u feel tho, I was worried but tbh after a week I forgot lol

I have my pram in the front room while the nursery is being built. Mine is also a Silver Cross, and was from my Sister.
I don't believe in superstition, you are either going to carry a baby to full term or you are not, a pram is not going to dictate it for you.

with my daughter we left it in storage, after 2 loses i was willing to do anything not to jink things, this time, after another loss, we are just using the same pram, so it's in the boot of my car as we still ocassionally use the buggy for my daughter. so hoping that will do the trick, i will bring it out and clean it up about 4 weeks before i'm due.

Last time I was only 16 weeks when we got our bargain pram. Kept it in the house from then. LO was fine. Superstitions are important to some people but not me.

I've got my pram too and it is at my mums but that's only because I've done nothing with the old junk room now nursery... So once weve cleared it out and painted ect we will pop things in there,,

I wouldn't worry, it's all superstitious nonsense and makes expectant mums worry unnecessarily.

I always kept everything in the house,if you're superstitious it doesn't really matter if it's a bib or a cot,so i just keep everything in the nursery and play with it every day lol

I got my travel system at 17 weeks and it has been at my mums (in my old bedroom) since. I'm not superstitious, but there is more room at my mums. When at my mums I still sleep in my old room and im always having a wee nosey at the pram xx
