Hey ladies. I have this morning- all day- sickness and I was wanting to know if anyone has used the preggie pop drops and if they really work?? I keep kids at my house during the day and it just sucks that I am running to the bathroom all the time and that I feel so bad.. I am very glad for the reason I am doing this but I don't like feeling this way. Just wondering if anyone has any tips. I try to eat little things all the time so my stomach don't get empty and I drink lots of things but that don't really seem to help me.. I am gonna ask the Dr if I can get something to take but I have not been to the Dr yet. I am almost 7 weeks now.. Thanks!
I had them, but my morning sickness was so bad (mild hyperemesis) they didn't really work. I think it's more of the sucking that causes you not to feel sick. I used them after my sickness wore off for the odd nausea waves and they did work. I would say use them for smaller nausea waves. Try saltine crackers and ginger ale as well.
They helped me for waves of nausea.. but then, I never throw up, haven't since I was 12 or so. They did make me feel a bit better... but as previous posters said, Jolly Ranchers would probably work just fine..
Don't take reglan, especially if you are nursing as it passes through breast milk. There is a case now before the courts where this drug is being majorly attacked for causing irreversible nerve damage. My midwife prescribed it to me (I found this crazy).
I am drinking a lot of medicial pharma grade peppermint tea and that is helping. Pricey, but helping. The B vits also help. Try sucking on mints, too.
I feel for you hun. NOT fun. I am feeling like crap day and night.
