Threatened abortion???? Confused....

So I went back to the lab to get more bloodwork done and it was the same tech that's been taking it and she said I don't like your diagnosis and I said what's that and she said threatened abortion and I asked if she knew why and she said she wasn't very sure and I needed to talk with my dr. She said my levels was good and I haven't had any bleeding or cramping and she said they may have put that in my files since I have had one ectopic and two m/c in the past and they just want to keep a close eye on me. Do you think I should be worried? Everything seems to be going great so far. I'm just so confused and freaking out since I can't get ahold of my dr's nurse to find out

Hi Kaila, I didn't want to read an run, but just try to get in touch with your doctor - only they are qualified to tell you what's going on. They have no right to say that to you.

I hope everything turns out ok for you. xoxo

Try not to worry. When ever someone starts spotting or levels arent rising enough they may say threatened miscarriage doesnt mean it will be so if we all keep our fingers crossed and try to relax alil for ur baba hopefully everythings great! If it was major cause for concern they would have told u straight away x

Definitely don't listen to a tech. They are not qualified to diagnose anything!

hi, i had a small bleed around week 6 and after that some dark brown spotting. i actually has a small 6mm blood clot due to which i was spotting.. i continuously had a diagnosis of the same for weeks together.. now, they use that term to get my insurance medications as if they dont state bleeding or anything, insurance may not cover expensive medication like progesterone.. dont worry at all.. i freaked out at the beginning, but its just a term.. they use to diagnose something.. if youve seen the HB and everything, the baby is perfectly fine..

in ur case, im guessing it was the doc who diagnosed and the tech just spoke about it with you.. they do quite often diagnose women that way.. i was under close monitoring and had a scan every week ! so maybe because of your past history, they just want to make sure youre ok this time so want to monitor you closely..

thats ok.. youll get to see bubs more often if they do monitor you closely..xx everything is alright.. dont worry

Thank you ladies! I'm trying not to stress and so far I think I'm doing good cuz I know when somethings wrong since I've been through this plenty of times but it's hard not to have that little thought in the back of my head of her saying that. And I've tried to call twice now and I keep getting answering machine and I don't want to seem like some psycho patient calling 10 times a day!? I just dont know what to do

I just got off the phone with the nurse and she told me not to listen to the tech she has no right to say anything like that. My levels last Thursday at 18 dpo was 178 and at 22 dpo they was 1367 And she just gave me the results from today and they are 3284 so deffinalty going up thank goodness. She said I don't need to worry or stress because everything looks right on track. This makes me feel so great! I'm on cloud 9 right now
