I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I've just realized it was happening this week. Could have been happening longer though. I've looked it up and what I keep finding is possibly proteinuremia (excess protein) but honestly I have not been able to stand even the smell of meat the last couple weeks so if anything I'm a bit protein defficient. I've also read where people say it's because they're peeing too fast, well I can see the sense in that so the last 2 days I've been peeing slower and then checked and it still happens every time. Also, possibly an infection in the kidneys. I had my 12 wk appt on Monday but forgot to pee in a cup before I left so I'm gonna have to make a special trip there to see what's going on. Just wondering if I'm the only one.
I just read that it is a possible sign of a UTI too & UTIs are VERY common in pregnant women.
Urinary Tract Infection
In a healthy adult, the urinary tract is clear of any infectious microscopic organisms, however, sometimes microorganisms manage to sneak their way into the urinary tract and conduce to infections. This is called urinary tract infection (UTI). Besides experiencing burning sensation and urge to urinate frequently at night, one may experience bubbles in the urine stream. A gas forming organism infecting the urinary tract is responsible for blowing these bubbles.
