hiya everyone i am gettin constant morning sickness everyday or ill miss a day and then bang here we go again. im just wondering when will it die down i am 10 weeks and 4 days
Mine hasn't died down yet, and I'm 13 and a half weeks now.
At around ten and a half weeks, I broke down and called my doctor for help, and he prescribed Zofran.
It's been a lifesaver.
The nausea is decreased by 75% (at least) when I take a Zofran in the morning, and the medication has no side effects that I've noticed, although some people say it causes constipation.
Sometimes on weekends (today, for instance) I try to go without my Zofran, just to see if the nausea has decreased on its own. But this morning I was very sick, vomited, and then ended up taking my pill and feeling worlds better.
Don't be a martyr... especially if you're like me and have to work full-time. It's just impossible to do that when you're experiencing extreme, constant nausea. Call your doctor and ask for some medication.
I've heard there are other effective medications, but they all cause drowsiness as a side effect. Zofran does not, at least not for me.
thank you have been in touch with my doctor and he just doesnt seam to do anything he said if i still have it at 12 weeks go back down to him hes just not really good! ye im constantly feeling the urge soon as i wake up! i am feeling fine today thank god just dont feel like food though,
thank you for your help and Good luck hope yours goes soon x
Zofran has made a world of difference for me too...working full time with all-day morning sickness is really tough, but like Clover Jane says, it takes the nausea away about 75% and makes getting through the day much easier. I hope your doctor can be convinced to let you give it a try! Feel better soon.
