Red spot of blood when wiped.

Hi all. I just went to the loo and had a tiny spot or two of red blood. Went again 5 mins later and nothing. Im really scared. I thought things were going to good. I havent had any severe cramping just the normal little period cramp pulling. But the last two nights I have woken in the morning with faint cramping that feels like i need to go to the loo. I go and nothing comes out. Im booked in for an early scan friday due to my previous ectopic and I just rang the ward as the early pregnancy clinic is shut and she didnt give me any advice apart from that i should ring the epc tomoro and speak to them.
Im worrying myself sick.

I'm going through this right now too Hun, had spots of blood yesterday when i wiped and nothing since. Went to a & e who have aranged a scan this week but told me just to keep an eye out and if it gets worse to go back. But I've been reassured by so many ladies on here that they've gone through it too, i know it's not as easy as said but try not to worry hun xxxx

Hi Ladies,

Try not to worry, hard said than done i know!!
I had this yesterday bright red blood and a clot and nothing after. I went to my epu and had my bloods checked and an internal exam and was told everything was fine. Im booked in for an early scan tomorrow but they really helped stop me worry!

I was told its normal.. Im 7 weeks today! Hope this helps you x

At around 6 weeks I got fresh red blood when I wiped and a little bit of brown spotting after. Had slight pulling cramps too. I went to A&E and had tests done, was all normal. I had a scan a couple of days after at the EPU and saw baby's heartbeat! MW and Dr at A&E both said that sometimes bleeding occurs for no apparent reason in early pregnancy.

Definitely get a scan with EPU and fingers crossed it goes well x

I had this off and on the first few weeks anytime I had or tried to have a bowel movement. The Dr (and a couple ladies on here) said the veins on your cervix are sensitive and the pushing from trying to poo could pop them easily, causing a drop here and there. If it goes away or isn't accompanied by severe cramping I wouldn't worry about it.
