What a pain trying to find a comfy non wired bra...been to bravissimo twice , once they sent me home with a bandage looking white royce bra...wore that one once, so uncomfy, next time I got a panache soft cup bra - awful, no support , took back for return.
I have gone back to underwired but in a bigger back and cup size.
Do I have to wear a soft cup bra or can I stick with the right fitting underwired all through pregnancy?
Uuugh I hate bras and I never wore them non-pregnant! I would wear those built in shelf-bra top camis from victorias secret. So I'm with you. I don't know what to do. Especially in the summer when underwires can be very uncomfortable. I am a 34B. I think I'll do sports bras for the extra support but cotton comfort.
I thought La Senza did maternity but it seems to have been discontinued. Mothercare ones look okay online and I want to get around to trying them. Annoyed that it's needed already (I'm about 6 weeks in), but I'm too....ample.... to go without support!
I think the underwire thing is mainly about comfort at this stage?
Mamas and Papas do brilliant maternity non-underwired bras - they're super comfy. I haven't been without underwire for almost 20 years, but I'm converted! Particularly since I've gone from a 36D to a 38E in the last 4 weeks....
