brown bleeding 6 weeks pregnant

6 weeks pregnant (7 this wednesday). I've had brown bleeding for 3 days, no pain or cramps. Bleeding has stopped now, I've had none since yesterday morning. Only symptom of pregnancy has been sore boobs which aren't as sore anymore. Got early scan this week (waiting for hospital to call with appointment!!). Am really scared I could be miscarrying. Any advice?? Has anyone experienced this before?

Most of the time they say bleeding or cramping is ok but not both together. Might be worth calling your midwife to set your mind at rest though x

Thanks for your replies ladies. I'm feeling a bit calmer today as the bleeding has stopped, plus what I had over the weekend has only been brown. No red or pink. Fingers crossed all is fine. We want this little bean so much! Who would have thought pregnancy would be such a worry! We were so thrilled when we got over the first hurdle of the BFP (2 months of TTC), and now we're faced with this. Got everything crossed for the scan.

I had this the exact same time along with a few achy cramps! Try and relax this is normal. I only had it for 2 days called the hospital and they arranged a early scan. Everything was fine. Ive to go back tomorrow to see/hear heartbeats, as it was far too early at the last scan.

Keep me posted on your scan

Thanks for this Lully2011, makes me feel better hearing about other people who've had same thing.
Just had call and got scan tomorrow at 9am. Told me to bring wee sample and also to have full bladder?? Does that mean I will have ultrasound rather than vaginal probe? I thought 7 weeks is too early for ultrasound?

Try and drink as much water as you can if they cant see anything they will do an internal scan. I drank as much as I could and there wasnt enough urine in my bladder so I had to empty what was there and get an internal done, not very lady like but its worth it when you see the screen and get your picture

The picture on my profile is the scan I got at 6weeks + 2days! The internal is much more clear when its so early so its worth it.

Good luck!! Keep me posted

TRY not to worry, as easy as it sounds, i always bite at OH when he tells me not to but its so difficult, but the more you worry, the more trouble you might be causing your little one.

I had brown spotting over weekend and spoke to doc this morning who said brown isnt usually an issue as like the other girls have said, its old blood... its time to worry when its deep blood red or clotting.

Sit tight until scan sweetie let us know how you get one xxxx

P.s Lully, that scan picture is incredible! thats one of the clearest ive seen!

Lully2011, yes your scan picture is amazing! I hope mine looks like that tomorrow. It is agony waiting. I'm guessing they want the wee sample to do an HCG count? I did a clearblue preg test just now and it came up +ve instantly. Guess it would anyway even if baby has died.

Did you have preg symptoms at 6 weeks? I just feel bloated, right boob a little sore. That is it.
