Any get their BFP from metformin?

Hey! I just got prescribed metformin today...
She said my chances of getting pregnant in the next 3 months are 60%
I've already lost 29lbs

Anyone else get pregnant on it?
How long did it take you to get BFP?
Are you overweight?
Any experiences good or bad are appreciated

Thanks for being helpful and congrats!!!!!

I did - I have PCOS and am overweight with very irregular cycles and Metformin was a miracle for me! I was first diagnosed this past February and prescribed 850mg 2x/day (started lower and gradually increased). My doctor told me that we would know within 3 months if it was helping at all. The first few weeks were rough with side effects, but after they went away I found I no longer craved carbs like crazy, or even had much of an appetite. My skin improved and I lost 8-9% of my body weight in 6 weeks. I felt great!

My cycles also regulated themselves almost immediately...within 2 months of starting Met I had my first ever "normal" cycle. AF started April 5, two weeks later I had a ton of EWCM, then two weeks after that got my surprise BFP on May 4! I was shocked because I didn't think it really would work that well (and it doesn't for everybody obviously). I had my u/s on June 2 and measured 8w2d with a strong heartbeat so all the dates were spot on.

It's easy to read all the negatives out there but it certainly is possible, and in my opinion the weight loss is a big factor, so it sounds like you may be on your way. Good luck!!
