Another question i wanted to ask u lovely ladies,
can u breast feed with implants, ive read so many diffrenet things and im left confused! i have implants mine are OVER the muscle so worried it might prevent me from haveing MILK or something
has anyone had breast implants and still breast fed, has it caused problems
thanks lovely for your reply, i think the only way ill really find out is too try, cos its always a topic what people always ask! mine are underneath so nipples havent lost any sensation or nerves! hmmmm just have to wait and see
Yes, you can breastfeed, although it might be difficult if any nerves were cut. It doesn't matter if you are over/under the muscle. What matters is whether the nerves around your areola were damaged. Unfortunately, you'll just have to wait and see.
By the way, I have under the muscle, crease (inframammary) incision. I haven't lost sensation, but my surgeon said there was a slight chance that I would have difficulty breastfeeding.
i have implants and mine were done under the muscle and remember doctor saying back then that i would still be able to breastfeed. i believe that having the incision through the nipple and over hinders breastfeeding but not always disables it. i think ill have a problem breastfeeding with my left breast cause i have alot of pain with the nerves, might have a nerve being pushed by implant or something like that, but other wise i dont see why you wouldnt be able to. its not like they cut your nerves or anything like that.
