do i need full bladder for a vaginal ultrasound??


hi, ive got a scan this afternoon and was told it will be a vaginal one.
the dr didnt say whether i needed a full bladder or not though
i had a vaginal scan with my last pregnancy but cant for the life of me remember whether i had to have a full bladder or not

No you dont hun the bladder gets in the way if full x

No, it blocks view if it's full for vaginal, full bladder is purely for abdominal scan as it pushes the uterus up as high as it can go.

Ive had 3 transvaginal scans now and everytime i have to empty my bladder!! I much prefer these scans, i hate it when i need a pee!!
