Smelly urine before BFP??

Just wanted to ask a quick question to those of you who received your BFP! Any way to explain the smell of your urine, or did you even have funky smelling urine before BFP? Im 11dpo and last night I started having a VERY strong smell of pee, which I cant identify! I know if you drink coffee, ur pee can smell funky, but this is TOTALLY different, very odd smell and i smell it the second it goes into the toilet. Any ideas??

Funny enough i noticed a slightly different smell... it smelt like when i tried the Aitken Diet many moons ago... it wasnt smelly... almost sweet smelling. This prompted me to take HPT at 11 DPO but it was negative. Did another at 13 DPO and it was positive. Good luck xx

I have never been on the aitkens so i wouldnt know. I cant put my finger on the smell, just very strong. I feel as well that i should take a test (im 11dpo) but i am waiting until sunday (13dpo) so we'll see...

Yes i noticed strong smelling urine too. In fact it was one of the things that made me sure i was pg before i got bfp.

My urine has remained that way and i'm nearing 12 wks.

Ohh I had strong smelling pee, still do actually but I put it down to because I need to pee a lot more now, it's sometimes inconvenient to go so I hold it in till I really need to go. But this is my 4th pg and I get it each time. Good luck Hun hope u get u're bfp x x

i remember having that and wondering why! So many hormone changes going on i think thats what it is...good luck!

Yup, i had strong smell of urine at 4DPO and i just knew im pregnant, i got my BFP at 12 DPO....good luck

mine seems to get darker very early when im pregnant i think it does smell a little stronger too....one thing to keep in mind too is some things do smell stronger when your pregnant
