2 days late, BFN, cervix high, soft, closed

Well ladies, the two week wait is turning into a three week wait. I am currently two days late for my period. Yesterday I tested and got BFN. I am not testing again until Sunday (my birthday!) if she doesnt arrive.

I checked my cervix and it is hard to reach--can only touch with the tip of my fingers. It is also soft and closed.

Just wondering if this happened to anyone and then they got their BFP? Or if anything like this happened?

And sorry for posting this in the first trimester forum but people who are trying to conceive or are in the two week wait wouldnt know the answer to this question.

Hi hun, the thing about your cervix being in a certain position meaning you are pregnant is not true. Your cervix changes throughout the day so it can be high or low and you can still be pregnant. I didn't get by bfp
Until 24 dpo so don't despair at the bfn just yet. Good luck xx

Thank you for answering. The fact you didnt get a BFP until 24 dpo really makes me feel better.

I am 4 days late and still testing negative on hpt. Grrr. My cervix was low hard and closed until yesterday when it rose up a bit and softened still closed. It usually feels hard very low and open the day AF comes. I have lots of pregnancy symptoms. I love to drink my beer and I was at a birthday party the other night and couldn't drink one it was making me feel sick. Swollen breasts... weird aches in pelvis. Lots of gas and tons of gas bubbles in my belly and very bloated for a week now. I hear we got to wait until we are a week late. So I guess I better hold out. Waiting is no fun.

Oh and I must add last night my husband and I got frisky and it was awesome..my nipples were so sensitive and I O'd way fast everything felt way more intense. My sister said this was how she feels that sex is way more intense. So maybe it's a positive sign too... ? I do have 2 other kids but all this is so different for me now.
