Can you have low hcg levels but still have symptoms?
Hey ladies! :-)
... So my AF is 7days late. Huge possiblity that I'm pregnant but hcg is tOo low to detect in a HPT. If hcg is that low, and I'm really pregnant would I still be getting all these symptoms? I'm just wondering because I thought hcg Is what made u have symptoms. My current symptoms are: frequent urination, always exhausted, larger appetite, lower abdominal cramps, headaches, and just feeling pregnant!
I'm not trying to burst your hope or anything but it is highly possible that those symptoms are just from progesterone since thats the main hormone that supports a pregnancy and gives early symptoms. I've studied biology and alot of times when a woman is not pregnant she can still have symptoms like she is. And alot of those times the reason its prolonged is because the woman has had an annovulatory cycle. Just so you are informed that it is still possibly you are not pregnant. This also happens with ovarian cysts which I have been through. I had all the symptoms similar to pregnancy and my period was 1 month late and I wasn't pregnant. Good luck.
Thanks Hun, Your Not bursting my bubble because I wasn't trying to get pregnant so I'm not looking for or wanting these symptoms. My doctor told me my depo didn't take effect for 2weeks so it's highly likely that I could've gotten pregnant during my fertile period. But it doesn't matter at this point I just need to know what's going on with my body. I've been on both depo And I've been pregnant. I've never felt this way on depo before and never missed a period. It could be different this time, but what a coincidence that it would change when the depo wasnt taken at the right time. Thursday just can't come quick enough! Lol
