Gently Pasteurized??

I have a bottle of Dole orange juice here. I looked it up on line and it says it is "gently pasteurized". So does that mean it's safe to drink? Never heard of gently pasteurized, it's either pasteurized or it's not, right?

drink it. Orange juice doesn't have to be pasteurised anyway! If it says it's pasteurised, does it matter if it was vigorously or gently???

I thought all juice we drank while PG had to be pasteurized!?!

And about the gently/vigorous, that's what I was thinking gently or not so gently, as long as it's pasteurized.

to be honest I've never heard of juice being pasteurised before, so it wouldn't bother me. Milk & cheese etc I make sure are pasteurised, but nothing else.
