2nd time round - More relaxed

Morning Ladies,

This is my second pg and I am just as excited as if it were my first. However I am so much more relaxed with it. I am not being anywhere near as strict with myself (allowing myself some caffeine, eating my meat not well done etc etc)
is anyone else the same??

I kind of know where your coming from (as I sit here with my cup of normal coffee!) except I still cannot relax, but I am not as strict as you say with "the rules" I am not drinking alcohol and limiting my caffeine but other stuff I am just using common sense over

Yes, me! I feel more relaxed about things, even though I am excited like you...but its like you already know that eating such and such wont do any harm, nor will drinking 3 cups of tea a day instead of 2 lol

I REALLY wanna relax but I'm finding it hard. I keep doing silly things too like tasting cake mixture (d'oh!) and the other night I had a merange and didn't think twice until the next morning!!! All fine though! Baby brain seems to be getting in the way of my better judgement lol!!!

I'm doing things exactly the same as I did last time, but I'm less worried about m/c this time because I know my body can do this and I want to be positive that things will be OK, I was terrified last time to the point of hysteria in early pg that baby wouldn't stick and I'm determined not to work myself up so much this time by talking myself into a sticky healthy bean and so far it is working, I'm not constantly worried like I was last time.

Yes me! Last time I quit caffeine all together, this time I didn't even think about cutting down until yesterday!! Last time I was really careful with resting and not lifting and stuff but now obviously im lifting holly and running around the house with her! I'm not less worried about mc though, in fact I'm more worried this time around as I have much less symptom wise!

This is my first and I'm not panicking - I still drink coffee, but no more than 2-3 cups a day. I'm ignoring all those ridiculous food rules - I like salami, runny eggs, rare steak and soft cheese. I've never been ill from them before so I'm sure I'll survive it while i'm pregnant! I have completely stopped drinking though - this is bad for baby!

Been out hiking today and didn't think twice about jumping from rock to rock and scrambling up steep cliffs. I still do all the manual aspects of my job which involve quite a bit of heavy lifting. I think you know your own limits and I feel quite happy. x
