does a very dark positive line make any difference to a faint one?

hi i took 2 pregnancy tests 1 day after my missed period and the positive line was alot darker then the control line and the example pictures on the box... with my first child i had to wait 7 weeks til i got a positive result and it was faint ... i was wondering whether this made any difference?

thank you in advance

Normally means higher HGC levels

As the others have said, they both mean you're pregnant, but many believe the strength of the colour indicates a stronger result owing to higher hcg levels- although I've never actually read this on a test packet or instructions xx

I don't think so, mine was pretty faint and actually felt the need to do a digital just to be 100% having said that, I was only a day or so late

Good sign. With both of my miscarriages the line was very faint and didn't get darker. This time the line started out pretty light, but got darker over the next few days. HCG gets higher so the line gets darker.

A darker line definately means higher HCG. I tested from 9 DPO - 16 DPO. All were positive but as the days went by the test line got way darker than the control line due to the higher HCG.

I could also be that you used different brands of tests. Different levels of HCG can causee darker lines, but it is not a constant. And light lines dont mean miscarriage, and dark lines dont mean healthy pregnancy. You have beautiful lines, and I am sure all is well!! Have a wonderful pregnancy!!
