Emotional

I'm sure it's normal, but every so often I just burst into tears. All of a sudden I get this terrifying feeling that this is all a lie and I'm not really preggers. Even when I look at my BFPs I think it must be wrong or these are dodgie tests

Then at other times I'm full of the joys of the world, and excited about the future

I'm sure this is all normal, anyone else going through these mixed emotions??

I am/was not as close to tears as you describe but I do remember that I could sort of not believe that I was really pregnant. Then towards the 6th week I got all those horrid yet lovely symptoms like all day sickness and really sore boobs, not to mention a spattering of spots all over my forehead and that made it sink in. Also having a scan at 7+6 and seeing my babies and hearing their heartbeats was so awesome and made it much more real. Good luck and congratulations and happy and healthy 9 months

I am going through this, its like is this real? This pregnancy is way different than my others, atleast with them I had darker Areolas as symptom. But all I have with this one is severe insonmia and off and on sickness.

AngelUK - Maybe when I get my first scan I shall feel better! Its just a roller coaster

Clare - I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one feeling like this! We've been waiting for this baby for so long and now I just feel sad! It's kinda crazy!!

Sweetheart it is completely and utterly normal! I went for my first scan at 9+1, saw loads, the HB etc & was so excited. Even went & bought a home doppler so I listen to baby's HB whenever I want.....yet despite all this I too think "Naahh this can't be real".

I have the silliest thought in my head that come my 12 week scan on Weds they will say "Oops made a mistake"...this is despite the picture proof & physically hearing the HB all the time! Lol!!

What I am saying is that no matter what your thought process will be crazy & it's how you handle it is what matters. I just laugh at myself whenever I get like it as it does sound ridiculous...but I can't help it!!
