I am just over 4 weeks pregnant, but I'm having lower back pain on my right said and occasionally in my lower right abdomen. I remember having this in my first pregnancy as I was concerned of ectopic...and I was fine...but it's kinda freaking me out again...I keep trying to talk myself out of this worry. I don't have medical coverage for another 3 weeks so I can't go see a doctor till then to have it checked. Anyone else have this? It's not severe pain but just kinda there, and annoying. Maybe this is just round ligament pain or something..although it seems a tad early for it although this is my 2nd baby...so maybe???
thx ladies....I think I need to officially be BANNED from "Dr.Google"....lol!!! omgosh...the things that we worry ourselves over...it makes me feel better that this is normal...everything else I've read says it could be ectopic....but I dont think it is...thanks again ladies...and sorry if I'm starting to become annoying!!! lol
luckyno3 - i thought the same thing...OMG...I need to get to the hospital...the pain I have is still there but it's almost a burning sensation on both sides now...I think it's safe to say it's stretching tummy etc...I have also been sitting at my computer all day pretty much...so that doesn't help!!
I had the same abdomen pain, mostly on my left side and i was sooooo worried about ectopic pregnancy as well till I had my 1st scan few days back. Baby is in the right place and hubby cried when we get to hear it's heartbeat.
Try not to worry too much. Btw, my pains laster for about 4-5 days and then it was gone..
Awww in the past two weeks I've pretty much convinced myself that I have every problem in the book and there's no baby in here! The ladies here are so sweet and helpful. In any case, I had a lot of weird pulling pains on both sides, and still notice them when I get up quickly or move in a certain way. GL!
Its understandable that low back pain makes you think ectopic, but according to my best friend who's had an ectopic pregnancy, the back pain was "beyond severe" she said it was unlike anything she had felt before, this being her 2nd pregnancy (the first a healthy baby girl). Hope this helps!
