Anyone else scared to BD now that you've made a baby?!

DH and I tried for the first time since conceiving today and I was so scared the entire time I ended up in tears. Needless to say we didn't finish and DH is so supportive but I feel terrible because he is always so wonderful....it's the least I can do to give back LOL!

It didn't really hurt just uncomfortable but I think I was more paranoid about hurting the baby...which I know is irrational but I think pregnancy hormones have got the best of me!

Anyone else feeling like this?! How'd you get through it?!

Yes! My husband is afraid he'll mess the baby up. I believe he said he was afraid of scrambling it... >.<

During the first pregnancy it was the same... It got better after he (we) got used to the idea we weren't going to hurt her.
It was difficult again though in the third tri when she dropped and it was literally like poking her head!

we were ordered not to till 11 weeks, and with the progesterone cream I squirt up there I can't imagine he would even want to. its gross....and looks like dry cottage cheese coming out. but you didn't ask that....so sorry i filled you in anyway, I told him about it so he was turned off from even thinking about sex....of course now he's been gone for a week so I haven't had to deal with his advances

I told my oh we're not doing anything until 12 weeks!!!!!!

I'm not so much scared of the actual sex as the few times we have, I couldn't focus because I felt ill. All the jostling from the movement tends to aggravate my sickness and I am more scared of vomiting during the act. I've apologized profusely to DH and he understands that since I'm feeling sick often, I'm not really in the mood. We did have sex a few times after I conceived, before I got my bfp and one of those times, I bled a little bit (which was a good sign as far as bfp was concerned) but we've only had sex a handful of times since my sickness kicked in at ~8 weeks.

When i was between 5-8 weeks i was scared but now it doesnt worry me. If i bleed or have cramping that it can be normal. I havent yet which is a good thing really or i'll probably worry. Besides, DF needs abit of sexy time over the next 6.5 months!!!

We had sex once. I was so tense and uncomfortable, and I think it was due to being worried about the baby. But finally we switched positions and I was on top, and it was SO MUCH better. I don't know why, but for some reason me on top was fine and I was able to....enjoy myself more...lol.

We haven't done it since but I'm still worried and taking it slow. I had some red bleeding a few weeks ago and I just want to do what it takes to make sure that doesn't happen again!

Aww don't worry it does get better. We dtd all the way through both previous pregnancies OH was a bit funny at first but midwife assured him he couldn't hurt the baby and that sex is actually good for the baby something to do with the feel good hormone it releases in you. I must add though despite all the old wives tales it didn't bring on my labour even at 10days over due lol.

This pregnancy I had gone off sex, I don't know if it was down to how hard we had tried for this then having to go on clomid to get pg or if it was purely the lack of energy and feeling sick all the time. We only dtd twice in the first 10wks. Now though I'm like a b**** on heat and cant get enough of OH lol.

I bled at 5 and 6 weeks so was def scared then and we didn't bd for 3 or 4 weeks. Now I'm not worried anymore after seeing the baby on a scan, and would quite like to bd but I just feel soooo sick I can hardly ever do it. We're lucky if we manage it once a week at the mo. Dh is super supportive though which is a big help.
