Sex during the first trimester

Hello,
I'm just over 4 weeks pregnant. I was just wondering, will sex affect my pregnancy at this stage? From what I'm finding, no, but I just want a piece of mind. Has anyone else "done the deed" while only 4 weeks?

I feel fine, but I thought afterwards, omg... What if something happens?? lol. Silly probably, but I'm a nervous first time M2B.

Totally normal to be nervous but chances are everything will be ok. Just see how your body responds. If you feel a sharp pulling in your belly, you may want to stop. But they only recommend no sex if you are high risk (like a history of miscarriage or spotting). Also, it's pretty normal to cramp a bit after an orgasm and you may even notice some spotting after you DTD.

I think we didn't DTD until I was 9 weeks but that was because i had some spotting early on.

just relax and enjoy it

I had some light tan spotting early on but the nurse said it was most likely implantation spotting. I feel ok so far so I guess thats good.

Sex is perfectly fine as long as you don't find yourself with severe cramping that just won't go away. Some pain is normal and to be expected though, and I suspect this is why a lot of women choose not to do it. It's totally up to you though, if you don't like it, then don't do it.

You're so early on, it was most likely implantation bleeding. I wouldn't worry about that =)

Yes, sex and orgasms can become very intense. In my case, the first trimester was especially so, now they somewhat back to normal. I'm very happy that I still want sex. Some women lose all interest =S

I haven't had any problems. Only thing for me is tha until I hit my 2nd trimester I would spot everytime after sex. But, talked to the dr and they weren't concerned.

We've done it from finding out and it's been fine, I had the most tiny brown discharge the other day and still had sex a day after and it was fine, just tell him to be gentle and enjoy xx
