Lower back pain on left side

For the past 2 weeks or so I have had this pain in my lower back on the left side. I don't think it's sciatic nerve pain as it isn't quite as low as my bum and I haven't felt any pain in my legs or feet yet. It seems to be right on the left side of my tail bone. It is a sharp, pinching sort of pain - if I stay still I can't really feel it but as soon as I move a certain way it hurts. It's worse after I sit or lay down for awhile. When I get up in the middle of the night to pee it's the worst - I can barely walk. Every time I take a step I feel a sharp pain. During the day when I'm moving around a lot, I barely feel it at all. It's mostly just after sitting or laying still for awhile.

Does this sound familiar to anyone else? I think it could also be from me being constipated or having a bladder infection.... what do you think? (I have other symptoms of a bladder infection - am going for a urine test on Wednesday).

I have the same thing. I think it is because i have a retroverted uterus and the baby is way back there. It finally eased two days ago so I'm thinking my uterus finally shifted up. I've heard it means I will have back labor really bad.
