Constant headache

Iv had a headache for a week now, I have taken the odd paracetamol but it doesn't help. Iv had cool packs on my head too... Nothing seems to help and I'm starting to loose the plot a bit.

Anyone have this/ know anyways to help get some relief?

Desperate

Try drinking lots of water along with the other things. Cool packs work but I prefer heat for mine so try a hot washrag on your forehead and across your eyes and maybe even put one on your neck. I had really bad ones at 1st. I actually went to the doctor thinking I was sick because I had a bad sore throat and stiff neck too. should get better.

Also try maybe a little caffeine. I feel it's safer than popping tylenol even tho they say you can have it. You can have up to 200mg a day and a can has less than 50mg in so maybe try about half a can. It seems to really knock out my headaches now.

Are your headaches followed by seeing spots in your vision or swelling of your face/hands/feet?

Just keep an eye open if anything else changes.

How severe are your headaches?

It's constant and they get worse as the day goes on... Go to bed and wake up with a milder version. My blood pressure is fine, as I had preeclampsia with my last pg, so I was conscious to have that checked.

I'll try warm cloth and see if that's works better than cold compress.. I'll try anything.

I drink tons of water, no caffiene ( never have) so I don't think it'd related to that.

Xxx

Whether you already drink it or not it works as a mild pain reducer, it's in most things like excedrin and midol for that reason so it could still help you.

you could try peppermint tea. I've found this much more effective than paracetamol at shifting headaches.
