Abdominal pain after weeing

Hi, just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. I seem to have permanent cramps in varying places but Ive noticed that whenever I've been for a wee I get a dull ache low down in my abdomen immediately afterwards. There's no pain/burning while seeing so I hadn't thought uti but now I'm wondering if there's one lurking?? Or is this just another joyous pregnancy symptom?!

Would be worth getting uti ruled out. Drink plenty and go to the loo when you need to also.

i read somewhere that since your uterus sits on top of your bladder, the extra pressure from your growing uterus causes this crampy pain. but if it's constant pain i'd mention it to your dr.

i get that same pain every once in a while but not everytime i pee.

I did a urine sample at the doctors to confirm the pregnancy - do you think they'd have checked for a uti then? I can't stop drinking and can't stop weeing, it's a never ending cycle!!

I was just talking to a friend about this! I'm constantly downing water and every 20 minutes or so I make a run for the bathroom. I also get a dull ache afterwards and I'm thinking it may in fact be a UTI. But I also get dull aches after I sneeze, blow my nose, etc. So who knows! Get it checked out though just in case (:

Possibly a uti. But I get the same pains and especially when I sneeze or cough, and I have a cyst on my left ovary & I know it's that bc I can only feel it in my left area.

I get that at night if I wake up to pee, I think its from having the urine sit in there for so long. And I get slight pain during the day, will mention it to the midwife when I see her.

Snap! I sneezed yesterday and got instant sharp pain, came on here to investigate and apparently lots of others get this too so I'm not panicking!

Would need to be checked for uti separately. It's a very common ailment for women in general and better to be checked out I used to work as a urology nurse.

Any ache after passing urine could be symptom of uti but could also be muscles stretching if you are pushing to empty bladder.

Worth mentioning excessive thirst to your GP too as this can be a sign of high blood glucose ( gestational diabetes) unlikely but if you really feel you have an unquenchable thirst and aren't living in a very warm climate worth mentioning
