anyone else have an ultrasound every two weeks??

My OB has me going in every two weeks for ultrasounds. I'm not really going to complain since I just love to see all of the growth. I started going at about 5 weeks when I had some bleeding, went again at 7.2 weeks and saw the heart beat!! I was still having spotting so she said to go back in two weeks which brought me to today at 9.3 weeks. The spotting has been gone for about a week and a half, yay! However, she still wants to see me every two weeks to make sure we don't miss anything.. is this because we conceived using clomid? I'm not too worried since insurance covers mostly everything I'm just wondering if anyone else has been in this position since the normal seems to be four weeks? Just being curious Thanks ladies!

I just found out I am pregnant! My doc wants me to come in for an ultrasound every 2 weeks for the first 6 weeks. So, by the time I am 10 weeks, I will no longer have 2 week ultrasounds. I also took clomid 100 mg day 5- 9.
Congrats on seeing your baby's hb! That is so exciting! I can't wait to see my little ones hb!!

Thanks for replying! She hasn't said anything about moving to every 4 weeks, but I guess it is normal with clomid since there is a higher miscarriage rate? I was on 50mg day 3-7.

Thank you!! Seeing the heartbeat at 7 weeks was amazing!! Now I'm just so excited to hear the HB!!

congrats on your pregnancy!!!

I go in about every 3 weeks, but I love it. I like seeing how things are progressing!

I have been going in every 1 to 2 weeks because they found a couple of bleeds around the baby about a month ago. It has been a scary rollercoaster not knowing if the baby was going to make it or not, but were almost out of the clear now and the bleeds have healed themselves. We go for our 1st trimester screening on Monday and hopefully I will be back to every 4 weeks. I don't like having to go in often because of "problems"

aww! I know what you mean, when I had my spotting the doc couldn't see anything in the ultrasound showing why I was spotting so much.. I'm still not sure why she wants me to go in every two weeks still, I know it's because she said she doesn't want to miss anything but I'm just afraid something is wrong! Of course if there was, they would tell me! I'm thinking it's just because I conceived with clomid and I had so much bleeding through december.. praying for a sticky bean for everyone!!!!

im 14weeks and 4days and ive had about 15+ ultrasounds..i have an quite the collection of pics from the baby as a tiny ball at 5 weeks until her basking in her glory at 14 weeks..it is pretty awesome to see..but i had a 10cm cyst when i found out..so they had to keep an eye on it..then i had surgery at 7 weeks to remove my right ovary...then i had ruptured cysts...and bleeding issues...oh and my first born passed away from a heart defect that was not detected while i was pregnant...so my baby is being very closely monitored

aww you have been through so much!!!! I will keep my fingers crossed for your little bean!! I love seeing all the growth! I plan on making a scrap book of all the ultrasound pictures and belly pictures when i start taking them! I've had four ultrasounds so far..my first one at five weeks they couldnt see anything and the tech told me that it must be a false positive.. I had another ultrasound a few days later with my OB this time and we saw the tiny fetal pole :') then again at 8 weeks(saw the hb!) and then also yesterday at 10w exactly but baby measures a week small every time which at first had me worried but I'm trying to relax! next appt is at 12 weeks but I expect baby to measure just over 11 weeks.. I haven't really gotten an answer as to why the baby measures small though.. but I've heard a week big or small is normal so I try not to worry!

Man, I wish! We didn't get to see baby for the first time until 12+4. Then my next OB appointment is on 2/7 when I'll be 17+2. Next u/s isn't even scheduled yet!
