Decidual bleeding.... ?

Hi ladies,
I hope it's ok that I post here

First off, congrats on your pregnancies!! I hope they are happy & healthy!

Reason for my posting here, I have a couple questions about decidual bleeding if ya wouldn't mind sharing any experiences please... Thank you in advance

If you have had this in your current or past pregnancies:

1) When did you get your positive hpt (ie before bleeding happened, after, weeks/month later...)?

2) How long/much did you bleed?

3) Did the bleeding start around when you expected AF?

Thanks so much for your time! I hope to be joining you ladies real soon!

(Oh yea, and feel free to take a gander at my journal {link in my siggy} - pg25, entry #248... kind of explains why I'm asking, just didn't want to bore y'all here with all the gory details thanks again!! )

I had bleeding after I got my BFP.. i got my BFP the day after I missed my period and a few days later I had bleeding(reddish/pink).. wasn't enough to fill a pad but scared me and made me go to the ER.. my hcg was only 91 and the ultrasound tech didn't see anything and mentioned a false positive... but a few days later I got in with my OB and we saw the fetal pole (hcg went up to 233), but I had started spotting again.. this time it was mainly brown spotting.. the doc couldn't see any obvious cause for it.. I continued spotting for about 1.5 weeks and now it has stopped! I don't know if any of that helps..
Have you tested yet!?
Good luck!! hope to see you here realllyyy soon!!!!

Thank you sooo much! That really helps a lot!

A huge congrats on your bfp, btw!!

AFM - Last time I tested was the 15th... it was negative... I did an OPK yesterday though (I'm a true POAS addict ) and it was pretty dark!
I have one frer left, maybe I'll test with that in the next few days!

Don't give up testing!! I tested about 10 times! they were all negative until Dec 2! I had started to lose faith and not think it happened but my DH begged me to do one more test. Let me know about your next test and good luck!!!!! I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Thanks! :)

Just wanted to update. (mostly because I hate when people leave these threads without updating and what not!)

I didn't test this morning because my temp dropped really low, so maybe this is just a really light short AF (1.5 days)

buuuut if I don't get a "normal" AF in the next day or two, and if my OPKs keep getting darker, I'll use me last frer! I'll keep y'all posted!

Wanted to give the final update - although still not 100% what's up...
I still have some pregnancy symptoms... and ended up only having a total of 6hours of actual AF type bleeding.

Chalking it up to a really wacky cycle...?

We're now WTT, as well, because hubby was in a car wreck Saturday and had to have knee surgery this morning

Anyway, thanks for the advice akblaze & I hope the remainder of your pregnancy goes smoothly!

Hello! I'm new, in same boat, and wanted to see if there were any updates also?

My husband and I are NTNP. My periods have NEVER been more than a day late before, but, here are my dates:
Dec 20--AF on time.
Jan 5th--Possibly O day?
Jan 19--AF due
Jan 22--BFN
Jan 24--AF came
Jan 26--AF left
Jan 27--BFN
My cycles are ALWAYS darker, especially if it is a day late, quite heavy, and always 4-5 days. I know my cycles exact routine--Day one and two: heavy flow, day three: light, day four and five: spotting. This one was filled a pad by the end of each day, then left. I still thought I was out, but I tested just to make sure a day after, and it was still BFN. So, I just chalked it up as a very odd cycle, and said we would try again next month!
But, then, a week after my cycle, I had this pinkish color slight spotting when I wiped. When I woke up, DH and I both noticed huge blue veins all around my boobs, too. I've never seen anything like either. I have NO clue what is going on with my body, lol.
My nausea, tiredness, lightheadedness, headaches, and loss of appetite have increased. My sore boobs come and go, but they are definitely not the size they used to be, along with nipple size. Moodiness has kinda subsided along with cramping. It's the first I've ever experienced anything like those symptoms. I kept thinking I was just becoming sick, but, then once AF was late, I thought maybe otherwise, and the nausea is insane after two weeks nonstop almost.
My mom keeps telling me of how in our family we have many people who just bled throughout their pregnancy or at least in their first trimester, but she also says that many people in our family also didn't get BFP until around 6-8 weeks pregnant, many many times during their pregnancies. I guess it's kinda nice to hear options, but, can the favor really be on my side THAT MUCH?
Haha, of course I want a BFP, but I kinda just want a for sure answer this month, ya know? I'm at the point where I don't even really get excited about a possibly BFP, cause I've done it so many times this month and don't want to have disappointing hope this month! Lol, I just want an answer, and hopefully WITHOUT getting my hopes up! So I'm staying neutral. :]

Anyone have ANY suggestions??

I go to the doctor on Friday for a regular first patient visit. She seems like a very nice female doctor; do you think I should mention anything?

Thanks So Much!!!
