Thank you!
We met with my ob this morning and she said that the lab results did confirm that numbers were starting to drop (which actually gives me some piece of mind because the discrepancy with dating was making me a bit uncomfortable). She also did an exam and said my cervix is still firm and closed... no change yet which was also supported by the "good" condition of the baby, sack, and uterus at the u/s on Monday.
She was very nice and completely let me make the decision as far as what I wanted to do next. She did not recommend the pill yet as with the pregnancy looking so "stable" she said that she would likely have to re-dose, as in one dose of the pill likely won't do the job yet.
So I've decided to wait and let nature take it's course. She gave me a prescription of Lortab and prepared me for the clots, tissue, and sack that I will pass. I do have a d&c scheduled for 02/14 (happy Valentine's Day, haha

) should nothing happen and I decide I don't want to wait any more. I have an appointment with her on 02/13 to decide if I want to keep the d&c or continue to wait should baby still be inside.
She also offered us genetic testing of the baby should we want it. She said it was likely to come back either inconclusive or a chromosomal abnormality and that she didn't necessarily recommend it because it's so expensive and our first loss. Nevertheless she said she would support it if we wanted to go that route (which I do not think we will).
Thanks again and I will stop posting my sad news here. Best of luck to everyone and I hope you all make it to 9 months with a very healthy baby!
