Love it! I've started googling exciting ways to tell family. Haha

We've been so excited we told pretty much all closest people already. The grandparents are happy like kids in a candy shop!! Both first time grandparents, so can understand their excitement i also had to tell my boss as was being totally useless at work, and the next day after being told she sent me packing up heavy boxes (and that's not even my job and hasn't been in the past 5 years)!!! Absolutely insensitive, but i refused and that was that!

H&H prsgnancy to you
Hi
where in London are you?
Can't believe your boss making u pack heavy boxes! Iv been very lucky with my boss but I'm a teacher and the school are very supportive with pregancies, babies, children ect.
I can't wait to tell everyone. We are going to tell our parents but we are going to try very hard to wait until 12 week scan

Babyblueskye- that is such a lovely idea.
Poppy I am a teacher too - I haven't told my head yet, thought I would wait a while longer until I'm being sick or I get a midwife appointment.

I woke up this morning with a dull ache in the middle of stomach - its been on and off all day. Has anyone else had anything like this? Am worrying! x

Yes I keep getting aches left, right or middle. I hardly notice any more coz I've been getting them every day since I found out. I think it's normal

Thanks for the reassurance about the cramps.

Poppy I am in Herts what about you?
Hey I'm Herts too! I will be at the Lister Hospital. I am 7 weeks on Tuesday and have my first midwife appointment on 10th feb. I had a doctors appointment last week and they just told me what not to eat, to take folic acid, took a urine sample to check for uti and confirm pregnancy. It was pretty basic. Not sure what happens at the midwife....... Had cramps loads but they are now being replaced by morning sickness.... Which I much prefer strangely!

Hey Broody, where in herts are you? Did you have to say which hosp you wanted your baby at? We are between Lister and the rosie in Cambridge.

I have had cramping but not felt it in the middle of my tummy until today!

Hey! I'm new on here too!! Congrats to all who are also expecting!!! I got a positive test yesterday and I'm approx 5 weeks! Due date 1st october ish! I've only known I'm Pregnant for 2 days and it feels like a lifetime!!! I've had dull aches/pains since AF was due last week! I also had an ectopic 11 years ago so I'm a proper nervous wreck!! Had bloods done this morning they came back as expected for 5 weeks gotta have follow ups on Tuesday so see if they have risen then book an early scan in! I know everyone says its normal to cramp but it doesn't make it any easier does it?! Or is that just me?! I'm forever weeing and Everytime I go I expect to find something bad... Which I haven't!! Someone please tell me This anxiety goes at some point!! I'm also a teacher and hoping the distraction of school 2mrw will help!! I'm thinking my lack of sleep isn't helping with anxiety either! Can anyone else just not stop thinking about it??!!!!
