8w+5d Pregnant but measuring 6w+5d

Hello, I'm 9w+0d pregnant, on 28th Jan early morning (around 4-5am) I got a pain on my right hand side+back side which was terrible...we thought it may be just muscular pain so my husband gave me hot water-bag..but it was going worse hence we went to outpatient Dr. who works on weekend. Dr. identified the urine infection+kidney was inflamed and gave antibiotics..n told tht if i dont feel better in next 24-48 hrs I shd go to hospital..on tht day after having antibiotics I felt 2% better but still it was very painful. I was not able seat, sleep n while breathing I was having pain which I'd never exp in my life. on 2nd day in the eve time we went to emergency and they did U/s twice..n we were shocked..dr told tht my pregnancy doesn't seems viable (tht time i was 8w+4d)..my pregnancy seems 6 weeks and my baby has stopped growing tht point of time n they cldnt find heartbeat.. so according to them it's an early miscarriage..but to confirm again they have asked me to come on second day for an another U/s (8w+5d)..n on tht scan they found a little pulsation..but still baby growth is very slow.acc to them this pregnancy is not viable...how it cld be when my baby heartbeat is thr !!

the report is:
Gestational Sac: Present..20.3 mm
Gestational Sac Volume: 4.4 ml
CRL: 3.4 mm

does any one has the same exp ?

please help.

Not 100% but didnt want to read and run.

With my first we went for our scan at 11 weeks and were put back to 9 weeks. I really freaked out and thought it had to be something wrong! turns out my dates were just wrong and had ovulated 2 weeks later that month and not realised.

If there is a heartbeat I would wait before doing anything rash. I have seen people on here be told they need a D+C asap, only to go for second opinion next week and see a healthy baby!

Don't really have anything else for you, but hope your bean turns out to be a sticky one xx

Hey, I know you said you were 8w+5 on the second scan but it can take anywhere between 24h and 14days for the egg to implant and that is after the time it takes for the sperm to reach the egg. Be positive, if there is a visible heartbeat then there is still a chance, my fingers are well and truely crossed for you. X

hmmmm hun not too sure, thats a hard situation to be in, I would def give it some time (im sure it will be hard) then go back for another ultrasound and see what it brings. are you hcg levels dropping or rising?

I would do as others said and give it a little time with another ultrasound. We are currently going through something similar (as you can see in my signature). However, we never saw a heartbeat. The increase in fetal growth was explained as discrepancies in measurements (a 5 day either way margin of error). Our doctor seems to have done everything right though to confirm things.

I hope things go better for you. You might be earlier than you think which could explain why baby is small and they didn't see the heartbeat the first time. Give it time and get another ultrasound. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and hoping for the best!

If they see a heartbeat then I would definitely give baby some time to grow. Don't give up hope.
