I'm just wondering what to expect. When people post when they start showing (real bump, not bloat), it's such a wide range...anywhere from 12-24 weeks!
In general, do thinner women show sooner because they have less abdominal fat to hide it? I know first pregnancies show later too (this is my first). I am 5' 5", 112 lbs (8 st) and thinking I can't possibly hide a growing baby for very long?? I'm trying to wait as long as I can to tell people, so wondering what to expect.
So thinner women, when did you start to show?
LOL I am NOT a thinner woman..but everytime I hear this question I have to tell you about my friend who is 100lbs and she didn't show until 7 months and even then she only looked 4-5 months preggos! I think its different for everyone :-)
It's hard to tell the difference between bloat and baby! I'm 5'5 110 lbs and I am wondering when I will show too. I'm 9 weeks now, and some people have asked about my tummy! It used to be flat but now it's so bloated I can't even button my pants. Thanks for the pics of your bump. It showed what to expect!
Is your bump hard or squishy like a bloated belly??
I'm 5ft 2 and size 8 with 24 inch waist before falling pregnant. I've put on 3 inchs around my waist but can still see defined abs muscles and I'm 13+1. I'm quite fit though so presuming it's holding it all in! I'm bloated at end of the day and boobs are two cup sizes bigger but all my clothes still fit! We are all different I guess
My SIL was so skinny when she got pregnant and even towards the very end her belly was big, but not THAT big. A friend of mine who had some tummy fat is now 12 weeks and she looks like she's at least 20 weeks!
