Please don't worry, you are sooooo early! I had a internal scan just before 5 weeks - maybe 4 weeks 5 days, and they didn't see anything! (which Dr said was normal) At 5 weeks that is all you would expect to see. Try not to worry yourself xx
Hi, I had an early scan and measured about 5wk 5days and all I saw was a gestation sac with yolk sac, no fetal pole or heartbeat, the sonographer said that exactly what she would expect to see at that point. There was also a bleed area which she described as "superior to and indenting the gestation sac" this worried me but she wasnt concerned and said they would follow the scan up at my 12 week dating scan. I couldnt wait that long so booked a private just before 9 weeks and it was amazing, I saw my jellybean with a strong flickering heartbeat and the sonographer confirmed the bleed area had cleared up.
I know its easier said than done because Im the worst worrier but try not to worry and relax. I would say you are 5/6 weeks like you originally thought and you will see a great difference at your next scan, good luck and keep us posted x
Seeing the 2 are such a good sign.........you are very early in your pregnancy that within a week or two when you go back for another sono you will be able to see a baby and see your LO one's heart beating. Try to stay calm and try not to worry its not good for your LO, I know very hard to do when your a ball of nerves.
i just went for my ultra early ultrasound today at 5w4d (lmp was jan 7th also) and all you can see is a gestational sac and a yolk sac inside. they measured how big the sacs were and they said everything looked amazing. I go back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound and ob appt (im super high risk with t1 diabetes)
