7 weeks and I've been in bed all day

I feel like such a lazy slob. I haven't actually gotten sick but I and so queasy. I woke up at 7:00 and took and hour nap at 10:00. Now I'm just lying in bed. I can't muster up any energy to do my chores. Once I get up all I can think about is my bed. I'm really anxious for the 2nd trimester. I'm a teacher and it has been so hard to stand all day. I feel lazy if I sit down. Anyone have any suggestions?

I hear you!

I have really been suffering with sickness in the morning followed by all day nausea and it's really starting to bug me now.

I know it's all good, but when I have two youngster sons to look after and a house to run it's just hard work.

I haven't left the sofa all day today. As soon as I get up and start doing stuff I just feel really light headed and as if I'm going to vomit. Yesterday I had a bit of nausea but actually felt ok.

My dh has been wonderful sortin the boys etc and I feel so guilty. I never had this with the boys so it's been quite a shock to the system.

I am putting chores on hold ad doing them as and when I feel better. Even if it means sorting washing then having a nap, followed by preparing dinner and then having another nap!

I know it will get easier but just can't see the light at the end of the tunnel just quote yet!

xxx

I felt like that for weeks and am slowly starting to feel a bit more normal now. I ended up on anti nausea tablets and they've really helped me. I'm a teacher too. Managing to get through the day but can be in bed by 8 some nights! xx

I haven't been off the couch all weekend basically. I've been having cramps (not bad, I just feel gross like I'm about to get my period) and feeling hungover. I finally figured out the best way to describe it: like being hungover all day every day, only I never even get to party.

I'm a teacher too and I hide at my desk and zone out any periods I don't have kids. I'm totally useless at work. I do better when I chug lots of water and snack on granola or fruit often.

I cannot say how much I relate to this! I was telling my family that I feel hungover so they suggested ginger ale soda which actually did work! I am not feeling as hungover these days either. Also, I have trained myself to have a small snack whenever I wake up. It seems to curb some of the ill feelings
