Hey Girls - Thanks for the reply. Woo hoo how exciting!! I'm booked in for the Royal in Edinburgh and am thinking of having a water birth. How is everyone doing?

My friend uses this site and she meets up with the Mums (they have all had their babies now) she met on here on a regular basis which is really nice.

Hey Fortunate. This was an old post as my due date now is 15th Sept with my first. Got my 20 week scan on the 3rd May and am going to find out the sex. Love surprises but it's too long a wait for me and I want to start buying clothes other than white, cream etc. Are you going to find out the sex?

Hello again! Yes ... we are going to find out tomorrow, I hope. We thought about waiting, but then we couldn't come up with a good reason to wait. It's a surprise whenever you find out, right?

I'm booked at Royal so far, but only because we really didn't know anything about the two hospitals, being new to the area. My local friends here said to have it 'anywhere but the Royal,' which was kind of disheartening. But then I'm thinking those folks all had their babies before the new birthing centre was built?

I love the idea of having it in the Birthing Centre there, but I'm not sold on doing this thing all natural, just yet. So many choices. I might see if they'll let me take a tour over there or something...
