Now been spotting for a week and a half and v. worried :(

Evening ladies,

I've posted before about spotting but I've now been spotting every day (on and off throughout the day) for about a week and a half now.

Sometimes it's brown blood and sometimes it's dark red but only ever on tp, never on underwear and only streaks in with CM and no clots or cramps.

I have a follow up scan on Wednesday (had one at 8 wks and saw baby and heartbeat) but I'm so terrified I've had a MMC and my body hasn't recognised it.

Has anyone please got any positive stories about spotting for so long and everything being OK? Would I be in pain if it was a MMC?

I feel so nervous about this scan and the waiting is killing me!

Hi Hun with both my ds and this baby (I'm 10 weeks) I've had spotting from 5 weeks til about 9. It ranges from brown spotting to red, but all was ok with my son, and fingers crossed this baby is fine as iv already had a scan. Apparently it's really common, and as long as you are in no pain, iv had a mc once before and it was awful, you should be ok. They are just little tikes sometimes! Fingers crossed all is ok for u xxx

Thank you so much hun for your reassurance, that's made me feel a lot better knowing that it has happened/is happening to someone else and it's turned out OK - the not knowing is awful, I wake up every day praying that the spotting will be gone but it always turns up at some point during the day!

I hope everything goes well for your pregnancy hun and I'm sorry for your previous loss

You should still go and get yourself checked out.. Whats normal for someone else may not be normal for you.. Im experiencing bleeding after orgasm today n tons of info say its normal.. But im not convinced because everything does not mean the same for everyone.. Im going to see ob in the morning.. Hope all is well hun.. Gudluck

I have had a mmc and had absolutely no spotting with it. With this pregnancy however, I spotted on and off from week 5 till 8. So try not to worry. Easier said than done, I know!
