9 weeks pregnant but baby measuring 6

According to my LMP, I am 9 weeks 2 days pregnant. I went in for an ultrasound and the baby is only measuring 6 weeks 2 days with a heart rate of 97. My doctor said that it looks like the baby stopped growing at 6 weeks, and that I should prepare myself for miscarriage. I am scheduled for another US in a week. I took 3 positive pregnancy tests 3 days after my missed period, but I know how sensitive they can be and that I could have ovulated late which would account for a week or so. I am trying to be realistic about the situation but I refuse to give up hope. Please tell me that this has happened to someone else and everything worked out??!! HELP!

I personally dont know.. But I think the heartbeat is a good sign.. I am sorry you have to worry like this! Heres to hoping youre time is just way off! Ill pray for you

Waiting for an answer makes everything harder, and I'm sorry you have to deal with this. Hope everything turns out OK.

Maybe that's actually your date due to late ovulation at 6 weeks the hearts just started beating so can explain why its below the 100 mark. I'm praying it picks up as difficult as it is try to be as positive as possible fingers crossed it will be well! X
