Until my first OB appt... I'm impatiently waiting...hope this next week goes by quickly! I can't believe this dr doesn't see pregnant patients until 10wks and they require me to bring proof of pregnancy from the health dept...I have never had to provide proof or be so far along before, they always just gave me my appt and after being examined gave me an appt for a 12 week scan, but I did change doctors for this pregnancy as my previous OB is concentrating more on cosmetic surgery than his OB practice. I went to his website ( www.brignonimd.com ) and its focused almost entirely on the cosmetic surgery portion of his practice...not a good selling point for me...lol hope I like this new dr. She seems to have some good credentials and experience...now to wait and see...hoping they either perform a scan or schedule me for one I will be 11+2 by lmp. I'm a nervious wreck thanks to some slight brownish spotting this past Sunday. Its stopped but I'm watching the toilet tissue more than ever now. I know its more than likely nothing to be concerned about but its still unnerving since I won't be seen for another week

hey, my doc just takes your word for it that your pg, i had my booking in appointment at 8w+2 (by lmp (6w+5by scan)) and my 12 week scan is this thursday 13w+2 (by lmp) but i have had previous failed pregnancies so my ticker is relating to my date by my scan at 8w+5 (by lmp (8w+2 by scan))

This week hasn't exactly gone by slow but it isn't speedy either. The last couple days have dragged, hoping the next 3 days go quickly

wow i would loose my marbles if i had to wait that long! I had my first apt at 4w4d (didn't think they'd schedule me that early, I called to make the apt & she said thursday, I was like THIS thursday!? called on a tues LOL - esp since i told them my lmp was almost a month prior) my first ultrasound is thursday - i can't waitttttt

With my previous OB/GYN that is exactly how it was, I would call they would give me an appt. This doctors office was like, "we don't schedule until 10 weeks" I was like, ok that is fine because I will be 10 wks next week and my pregnancy medical coverage didn't kick in until March 1st...got my appt for the 6th (Tuesday) and I will be 11+2...
