We already have our summer holiday booked, 2 weeks in Portugal when I'll be around 19 weeks. Not too hot and not too far from home xxxx
Yes! I remember you! Congrats on your bfp too

See, the thing is that we never holiday in europe unless it's to visit my parents in Spain. We're saving those holidays for when we are carting around little ones with us because everywhere is within a few hours flight. The main thing I have in my head is a week in Vegas then a week in Aruba, but we have been to both of those places before and part of me thinks we should go somewhere we haven't been and that is far too far away to be taking at least one young child. I really fancy Hawaii, although that is a really loooooonnnnggg flight, or the Maldives (even tho we have been before) because it's very much a couples destination there but apparently there has been some civil unrest lately
Other places swimming in my head are seychelles, mauritius, bali........

Yes it is cool having the carribean so close but I've come to take NYC for granted. I live five miles away! This thread is making me want to get on a plane!

I would prob go somewhere nice and relaxing like the Seychelles or Mauritius if I were you I honestly could not go to Vegas pregnant, lol I would crack up. We were there last year and honestly it was one of the best weeks of our lives but that largely revolved around alcohol and late nights ha ha

See that's partly why I'm thinking of it. I don't drink much to start with, so not drinking doesn't bother me in the slightest. It's the one place I wouldn't take a child cos I like to play in the casinos, and I'm thinking it's 2 years since we went together, but hubby went last year on his stag do and I was gutted so I really want to go again. I think I've just made my mind up for the first part of our holiday, at least. But now, which hotel?

We stayed in the MGM which was lovely but I wouldn't stay there again, I'd rather be more in the middle of the strip plus the casino there isn't as great as some of the others. We were there for a wedding, in the Bellagio, which is just unreal, so I would def stay there next time x

Pool area's are fab too so you can get in some nice relaxing time in between winning your fortune
