Did being overweight make it harder for you to get pregnant?
So I'm about 3 stone overweight and ttc our first (2nd cycle now) and I know I should lose weight but its so hard but I'm starting to worry it will make it hard to get pregnant or make the process take longer!! I have decided to do more exercise starting Monday also as I don't think my husband is as attracted to me as he was when I was skinnier and obviously him fancying me is quite important for ttc!!
Anyway has anyone else found it a problem when ttc?
I'm 3st overweight now and wasn't actually ttc but got pregnant after 1time dtd funnily enough I found out I was PG when I signed up to lighter life to try to lose my final 3st after already losing 7st from counting carbs and only having 40net carbs per day. With lighter life you need to get medical sign by your GP who did a PG test that came up positive can you imagine the shock I had lol I also took the morning after pill so what are the odds, good luck sending you lots of baby dust x
I started TTCing last year when I was at least 5st over weight. I joined weight watchers and had just lost 3st when I got my BFP this past week.
I would like to think that loosing the weight helped me to get my BFP. I cant put all the glory on loosing weight as I also had an HSG scan in January. SO I think its a combination of the 2!
i'm overweight (it's like a confessional!). got preggo on 2nd cycle ttc with dd and 1st cycle with this bubs. i'm 36. you can only see how it goes, but obviously it's a good idea to try and lose if you can for your health in pregnancy (wish i listened to myself).
