12 weeks and discharge (tmi)

Hi All

I am currently 12+4 and last night notice some brownish dishcharge when I wiped 'down there'. I started to panic so put on a sanitary pad and thought I would see how it goes over night....no pain and the pad was dry when I woke up. Got to work about 2 hours later, went to the loo and it was brownish again but only when i wiped the once, then it went away...I can only describe it as watery type dishcharge wiht a tinge of brown/yellow. No smells, no itches.....

I am still feeling nausea from morning sickness and now also suffering from jaw pain and back ache.

Have had a bad cold for past week and a half so that hasnt helped the way I'm feeling, so tired and run down.

I am praying all is ok as the symptoms still look strong (even at 12 weeks when they are supposed to subside)

Anyone else had a similar situation? I will keep an eye on thigns and if I notice any red blood or pain will go straight to dr.

My first scan is not until 13+5
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi,

Hope everything's ok. I know it's hard not to worry, especially at this later stage when all that stress is supposed to ease a little. Would your doc refer you for an earlier scan now you've had a little light spotting? You might find you get seen a bit earlier at EPU, which would be reassuring, and then your normal booking in scan will be a bonus.

Let us know how you get on

Give your mw a quick ring. It's probably nothing - but its always best to be safe. Sometimes people get brown discharge when its time for AF. xx

I had the exact same thing last week...it lasted a few days then went away....I saw my OB and he verified manually, he said my cervix was closed and that it was not blood just discharge...he said that it is fairly common.... I would have it checked out if I were you just to make sure everything is ok, in the meantime keep wearing a liner and just monitor it to make sure it doesnt increase or change color...

Thanks hun... I will try and call Dr this afternoon, they are soooo difficult to get appointments with though. I have a liner on and there is nothing on it at all, same as last night...when i wipe its just clear now so hoping its just a little old blood....I am still having nausea and dry heaving so hoping thats a good sign. I am counting down the days to my scan next week!! xxxx

I think it all sounds positive that you are still feeling sick etc But its always good to speak to the midwife and get your mind put at rest isnt it.

I do hope everything is ok and I am sure that it is This happened to me at 10 weeks with DS2 and after a MMC (no bleeding or cramps etc) at 16 weeks I was properly freaking out but all turned out to be fine xx
