When i used opk's there were some months when i wouldnt get the 'smiley face' even though my period was regular and on time. I think some months you maybe don't ovulate and then others you do. And yes, its always the way, some women just have to look at their OH and get pregnant but stick at it and keep the faith, you will get there.

We have never used protection, nor have I ever used BC, just the pull-out method...silly, I know. Once we got married in September we stopped doing the pull-out method and got Pregnant in October. I MC'd early December and had one cycle than got pregnant again in January. I just guessed when I would be ovulating by counting the days after my period, I knew it would be somewhere between the 14 and 20th or so, so we just made sure to do it almost every day and one of those days, one of them made it! I really want a baby and my husband is indifferent, I think he's a little frightened of the whole thing, but that will change once the baby gets here...I think he wants it to be born a 4 year old. Hope this provides some information for any of you TTCers that haven't been on birth control. Good luck to you all!!

I was on birth control (the pill) for years, but went off it about a year before we TTC. My period took about 3 months to come back and never actually regulated (every 2nd cycle was a loooong one). We started trying to concieve in January (my long cycle) no luck. In February we didn't really try, just did it when we felt like it...which was only twice! and the day my period was due I got my BFP! I really feel like it was because I relaxed and didn't think about it, my doctor seems to think thats the way it goes for a lot of people.

I went on BCP when I was 12, came off it at 17, we tried everything, opks (ov'd pretty much every month!) legs in the air, pre natals, fertility stones etc etc
Nothing!
After a while we found out id never conceive naturally so it was on to ivf

After 3 years, our first round of ivf, alot of pain heartache and a bucket load of tears, we finally got our bfp
I just pray he's going to stick around for the next 7 months!

I had the depo injection for 5 years, moved on to the pill for 3 then came off that Oct 2010. Took approx 3 months for my cycles to regulate though they ended up longer at 32 days than the 28 I was before bc. We didn't really ttc at all. I took the decision in Jan that I would watch for of signs, cm and ov pain, which I get. We only managed to dtd twice due to shifts. I lay still afterwards for approx 30 mins. I got my BFP 1 day before af was due.

Good luck xx

Started trying in dec 2010.

Bfp 3rd cycle mc at 5+4.
Bfp 4th cycle chemical loss 4+2.

Temping using fertility friend (paid for VIP well worth it). Using evening primrose oil up til ovulation to improve cm and clearblue fertility monitor. I have long cycles and ov does vary.

Finally after swapping the epo for fertilitea last November I got my bfp feb 15th at 12dpo.

I was on depo for 11 years ... we were ttc for 18 months or so before I got my BFP !

We did use a CBFM that month (though it broke after day 9 so not sure how much that helped!) - hubby had also started taking wellman and I was taking folic. I have neevr been abel to tell when Im ovulating but have regular 28 day cycles (though I only bleed for about 2 days)

We also dtd when waking on a morning more often (sorry tmi!) - but I read that sperm is better on a morning!

I was on bc since the birth of my youngest (he is 4) I stopped bc because it made me into a monster, and got pregnant right away without trying but it ended in a missed miscarriage. After the mmc I waited for AF then TTC seriously that cycle, using fertility friend, opk's checking cm, and cervix (cervix was confusing though) on the evening of the + opk, I had ovulation pain that got worse and worse then just stopped completely then we dtd twice, leaving legs in the air after. Temps confirmed O the next day and I got my BFP on 11 dpo with a 20 miu/ml cheapie test. I was on conception support multivits since a few days after the mmc, and switched to pregnancy ones the day of my bfp, as I had gotten a months worth with my conception support.

I have only seen EWCM once, and that was right after examining my cervix with s speculum, a mirror, and a torch LOL the ewcm followed the speculum out.

I was on the mirena for 2 years and had it removed at the end of August. We conceived our baby almost exactly five months later. I was using ovulation tests about every other month, but they were always half way between my AF so it was kind of a waste of money since I already knew when I'd ovulate.

When we did get PG, we only BD'd ONCE the whole month, which was one day before I was expected to ovulate. All my AF's were different lengths (only a day or two).
