Everyone I know who has kids already, met all their 'mum friends' via antenatal or NCT classes. Or whilst on the ward after giving birth. Or at mum&toddler type things afterwards.

Think they were all later on though, don't think there is many things for 'early gestationers'.

Hope that helps

Yeah I met a few of my friends when I was pregnant with ds at our aquanatal class. I think you could join it from 12 weeks. Have a word with your midwife and local leisure centre I'm sure they will be helpful x

When my daughter was born I met a lot of friends on the Netmums website. They have a board called Meet a Mum where people can post adverts and there are specific boards for each area. You can either post your own ad or respond to other people's. It feels a bit like internet dating I did meet a few good friends on there though! X

Another place I see a lot of expecting moms is the local playground. You could saunter over and introduce yourself, even without a kid in tow.
