I can't go in until eight weeks--which is this Saturday. I get to call on Thursday morning to make an appointment.

Sort of nuts waiting for it, yes. I also am applying for Medi-Cal, which is a low-income health-care program that cover pregnant ladies, and I'm a tad nervous about being rejected from that.

I interviewed for a full-time job last week, and if it were to come through (no idea how likely), I'll be able to get private health coverage again. I really hope it does. Planned Parenthood has been really nice to me, but I would love to be with Kaiser again, and be able to nag my OB about small things, and not worry that that or that test may not be covered.

If I have to, I can do the pregnancy like this, but BOY I would like Kaiser again.

You have patience that I can only strive to achieve! Good for you

I guess I'm lucky because at the same time I'm working on the interior design of the house this baby has to come into So I remember about my pregnancy at night when I feel way too bloated! I guess the trick is to really busy yourself with something you like... cause till Nov 18th (when my due date should be) is such a long time!!!!!!!!!!! I mean a whole summer of hot days!

I hear ya. I'm due right before you. At least the hottest days of the summer won't be during the last months of pregnancy. It will be fall for our 3rd trimester. You really avoid the summer. It's going to hit ya at some point in the pregnancy.

Congratulations everyone!! I was lucky and got to go for a scan at 6 wks (due to my history) and saw everything and the heartbeat! Was very reassuring... Went for a blood test at 8 wks to confirm hcg numbers were still rising, which they are, and I'll go get another blood test done in 2 weeks at around 11wks to confirm numbers still look good. THEN will go for my NT scan around 12 weeks.

Trying not to over analyse every little pain and twinge, but feeling confident this time as I've had a fair bit of morning sickness. Who'd have known you'd get excited over being sick and queasy?!

Good luck to you all! Let's all keep each other updated as I think sharing our stories and concerns makes time pass a bit quicker!!

GL and baby dust to us all!!! x
