bleeding after rising hcg levels

Hello. I'm about 6 weeks. On the 5th I was sent to the ER due to some bleeding and very light cramping. They took blood and my hcg levels were at 7000 they also did an ultrasound but I was told it was too early they said I had a threatened miscarriage. Over the next few days I was sure I had miscarried, I had been spotting brown and had a few clots some big and some small. but when I had gone to my appointment on the 9th my levels had gone up to 19000. I felt fine of the weekend and had finally stopped spotting. On Monday they took my blood again. Today they called to say it had gone up to 34000 and everything was looking good. A few hours later I started bleeding and its bright red not brown like before. Has this happened to you and what was your outcome? I'm driving myself crazy. Thanks.

Did they say when they are going to do another ultrasound? The rising HCG is good, but the bright red blood is not. I would definitely get in for another ultrasound, they should be able to see something by now.

i also had bleeding at 7weeks..
it was bright red like your's is but when i went for an ultrasound i d\seen my little bean with a hb
i was told the bleeding was from the uterine wall due to the placenta attaching itself

so bright red bleeding might not mean misscarriage at all.
if your concerned at all I would go straight back to your doctor or hospital..

best of luck

I had bleeding with my daughter for about 6 weeks. HCG was rising the whole time. I had 2 weeks that I bleed like a period. I passed clots, I had cramps, it was very scary. But I have a healthy 7 year old sitting here right now.
Its not always bad news.
Best of luck x

I cant tell you how much your positive results make me feel better. I have not had any bleeding today and I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that we dont see any again. Hopefully we will be doing this soon!
